Portable Net-Capture Interceptor Drone (CRU-1)

Purpose and Functions

With the rapid proliferation of drone technology across both military and civilian domains, securi- ty risks such as unauthorized drone flights and other illicit operations are increasing. The Porta- ble Net-Capture Interceptor Drone (CRU-1) is a counter-UAS product developed for military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets. It captures designated target drones through net-based interception for efficient counter-UAS operations, offering standout advantages includ- ing fully autonomous operation, reusability, a non-pyrotechnic design, and low cost per engage- ment.

Applicable Scenarios

• High Speed & Efficiency: Featuring an innovative tilt-rotor quadrotor configuration, it allocates propeller thrust more effectively along the direction of travel for strong maneuverability while reducing aerodynamic drag. This delivers superi- or overall speed and endurance within its class, with a flight speed up to 40 m/s.

• High-Precision Engagement: In tilt-rotor mode, the velocity vector is decoupled from pitch attitude, enabling aimed engagements at any pitch angle with exceptionally high precision.

• High Integration and Lightweight Design: The main body adopts an integrated carbon-fiber molding design, combining high strength with low weight. When folded, the platform measures only 120 mm × 120 mm × 400 mm and weighs just 2.3 kg.

• Modular Payload: A quick-release modular design is used. After net deployment, the interceptor drone returns autono- mously; the platform is reusable, resulting in very low cost per engagement.

• Intelligent End-to-End Workflow: Launch, interception, and return are executed automatically throughout the entire process, with no human-in-the-loop required.

• Non-Pyrotechnic: The net launcher uses a high-tension spring mechanism with high reliability and no explosive-related safety hazards.

• Low-Collateral Net Capture: Net-based interdiction minimizes damage to the target drone, helping support downstream attribution, verification, and investigation.
