ACTIVE AND PASSIVE INTERCEPTION SYSTEM EQUIPMENT
The target identification and tracking/cueing equipment receives ADS-B/AIS signals (e.g., position, identification code, aircraft/vessel type, heading, speed, timestamp) from aircraft and vessels in the vicinity of the radar site. It provides this data to the radar display to show civil aviation and maritime targets within the radar’s coverage area. By effectively correlating with radar data, it assists the radar in establishing tracks and identifying targets, verifying the accuracy and completeness of the radar’s overall situational awareness, and evaluating the radar’s capability for wideband imaging and comprehensive target identification. Based on typical parameters, test data of different radar types, and environmental information, it analyzes radar detection performance and tracking accuracy under varying parameters and conditions. Combined with measured ADS-B/AIS data, it generates data simulation analy- sis reports and comprehensive identification results. It also supplies static target information (aircraft/vessel type, dimensions) to a target identification database, and integrates dynamic features such as real-time speed and attitude as reference characteristics for radar wideband imaging, allowing testing and evaluation of target identifi- cation results.
