The 10 kW High-Energy Laser (HEL) Defeat System integrates high-energy laser, electronic information, and image-processing technologies to enable intelligent target identification, high-precision tracking and pointing, and laser defeat of low, slow, small (LSS) targets such as long-range UAS targets, balloons, birds, and kites, enabling rapid target engagement. The system supports vehicle-mounted deployment and can also be installed as a fixed system on building rooftops and other elevated locations.
