WARTIME VENTILATION EQUIPMENT

Model FCH Explosion-Proof Overpressure Exhaust Valve

Application & Working Principle

This valve is mainly installed at exhaust outlets of protective projects and remains closed in peacetime. For gas-filtering ventilation, an overpressure of 30–50 Pa shall be maintained inside the project. The valve cover opens automatically under overpressure to discharge toxic gas from the gas-proof passage. For isolated protection in wartime, manually lock the valve cover to enable the protective and airtight function of the valve.

Simulated tests verify that the valve operates reliably and meets the blast resistance requirements for Grade 5 civil air defense works.

Installation Instructions

Accurately position the wall penetration pipe during civil construction. Keep the pipe horizontal and weld it firmly to surrounding steel rebars.

Use the bolt holes on the housing for hoisting during installation.

Ensure the lever is vertically plumb after installation. When the valve cover is fully opened, its outer side shall fit evenly against the stop ring.

The valve cover shall open and close flexibly. Place the weight into the corresponding groove on the elongated hole of the lever in accordance with the overpressure value specified in project design.
